Mid-Counties provides rapid movements of cargo from the size of envelopes to 20,000-pound loads locally, nationally and internationally. Our services include Same-Day and overnight local deliveries,  a full range of airfreight services including FFO, next day and 3-5 day deliveries, international remail, and order management and warehousing services. We also provide staging and consolidation capabilities in our two facilities, one near the San Jose airport and one at our headquarters in Santa Cruz. We have approximately 10,000-sq. ft. of warehouse space.

With these services, we provide our customers with a comprehensive and efficient way to transport cargo, packages, or parts, whatever their needs.

Same Day Ground Delivery (Local)

Same-Day Ground services account for a majority of Mid-Counties' business. These services include Direct Express, 2-hour, 4-hour, 6-hour and 8-hour deliveries. Our standard Same-Day rates cover service from San Francisco to Oakland to Monterey, and Mid-Counties has divided these areas into 17 service zones. We also provide service to cities outside our 17 service zones on a charge per mile basis.

 

Overnight and 2nd Day Ground (Local)

Our Overnight and Second-Day Ground services offer economical alternatives to any of our service zones. These services include 2nd Day Local Delivery which must be there by 5:00 p.m., Overnight Express delivery which must be there the next day by 5:00 p.m., Overnight Priority which must be there the next day by 12:00 noon, and Overnight Latenight which is picked up late and delivered the next day by 12:00 noon.

 

First-Flight-Out, Next Day Air, and 2-3 Day Air Freight (International)

Mid-Counties can arrange door-to-door service between any two cities worldwide, or we can arrange to ship and notify if you would like your representative to pickup at the destination airport. Our MCD Air services include First Flight Out, Next Day Air, 5-Day Air, and domestic and international courier service. Depending on airline schedules and time zones, we can generally provide same day air service. We offer express or economy airfreight and domestic and international courier service to anywhere in the world.

 

Order Management

Mid-Counties provides order management responsibilities for low-volume products, low-margin products, ancillary or complementary products, legacy products, or any products that do not justify the overhead necessary for manufacturers maintain and distribute. The order management responsibilities include order tracking, product packaging and handling, shipping and distribution, purchasing, and account management.

 

International Remail

Mid-Counties provides international remail to all areas of the world.  This service is particularly useful for the Marketing Departments of our global customers. It is the most efficient way to deliver your international mail and significantly save costs.   For assistance with product literature, advertising materials, or general bulk mail, call Mid-Counties Delivery Service.  Our rates are generally cheaper than the US Postal Service.
